Lyn Flaherty

    Lyn Flaherty is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Cassie Reid, PhD, LPC-S. She earned a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduating with High Honors from The Kings University. She has completed EMDRIA approved EMDR training, which helps people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. She has been trained in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy Level I and Prepare & Enrich for Marriage and Premarital counseling.

    Lyn provides support for adolescents, women, couples, and families. She sees clients struggling with a variety of issues including, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relational and communication challenges. She believes everyone has the ability to achieve mental and emotional well-being that leads to a life that is joy-filled and worth celebrating. She partners with God to help guide her clients along this journey by allowing them to grow, and heal at their own pace, and to empower them to build on their own strengths to reach their life goals. Her heart’s desire is to see her clients healed, set free, and living with joy and purpose.

    Lyn has been married to her husband since 1984, and they have two adult children. She has been involved as a ministry volunteer for many years, mentoring women of all ages, encouraging them to embrace all God has for them. She enjoys visiting with friends over coffee, reading, going to the gym, boating, and hanging out with her family.
