Nadine Bracy

Nadine is has been with His Story since 2015. She began her career as an educator in 1985 and then earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2013. For Nadine, counseling is a sacred trust whereby she walks with others through difficult circumstances and assists them in their journey towards experiencing the abundant life Jesus came to offer (John 10:10).

Nadine is an EMDR trained therapist and is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, both of which are empirically supported therapies for treating trauma and PTSD. She has completed all training levels in the Gottman method which she uses in her work with couples, and is also a Prepare/Enrich facilitator.

Nadine and her husband Carl have been married since 1986 and have three grown children, and one daughter-in-law. In addition to her work as a therapist, Nadine enjoys ministering by leading and participating in women’s Bible studies, speaking, volunteering at a pregnancy center, and going on mission trips with Thrive Ministries where she offers counseling to missionary women. In her free time she enjoys exercising, reading, gardening, painting, walking her dog, and spending time with friends.
