Salena Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the Supervision of Dr. Linda Marten, PhD.
Salena graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies. After college, she lived overseas for 2 years and developed a heart for the world as a result, spending many of her summers going overseas on mission trips. Salena’s years of ministry experience not only in the US, but overseas has given her a heart for people facing the joys and challenges of ministry work. Salena began working with a college ministry full-time upon her return in 2003. Years of experience investing in college students, she has walked alongside many women struggling with addictions, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relational difficulties, and spiritual issues. Salena has a passion to help women and decided to return back to school, receiving her Masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2017.
Salena enjoys working with adolescents, college-age and young adults. She loves to work with clients of all beliefs and backgrounds. She works to connect with and understand her clients and their unique stories. Salena cares deeply about helping others experience freedom.
