Salena (Sal) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies. After college, she lived overseas for 2 years and has travelled the world.
Sal has worked for over 20 years in college ministry, 5 of those years specifically with international students. Years of experience investing in college students, she has walked alongside many women struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relational difficulties, low self-esteem, and spiritual issues. Sal’s heart for helping women led her to return to school, receiving her Masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2017. In addition, Sal is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Sal enjoys working with adolescents, college-age, and adults. She loves to work with clients of all beliefs and backgrounds. She works to connect with and understand her clients and their unique stories. Your story is important, and worth being told. Sal cares deeply about helping others experience freedom.
