Rachel Reeves

Rachel Reeves is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Norma Cruson, LPC-S, RPT-S.  Rachel graduated with her Master’s of Arts in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary.  Rachel is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults.

Prior to counseling, Rachel was a math teacher and holds a Master’s of Arts in Teaching Mathematics from Texas Christian University.   While teaching, Rachel discovered she had a passion and empathy for others in regards to mental health.  School can be a major stressor for both parents and their children, and Rachel utilizes her experience in education to help clients navigate challenges in this area.

Rachel is trained in Play Therapy and in using Expressive Arts in Therapy.  Rachel spent part of her practicum at The Arts Station in Fort Worth where she learned to incorporate Art in therapy.  Particularly with teens, she had seen art and activities help to build trust and give a safe space for teens to express emotions.  Rachel also has experience in the inpatient setting, the homeless shelters, and court mandated therapy.  No matter your background, you can have a safe therapeutic space to work through your goals.

When she is not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, and arts and crafts.  Rachel also loves playing with her dog, Princess.
