Mark has worked for the IBM Corporation for the past 33 years primarily in leadership roles. His expertise includes management consulting, education design and delivery, personnel management and project management. He has spent the past 17 years managing complex development projects to develop services deployed in every major geography worldwide. While Mark spent many years teaching and consulting with IBM customer management teams, mentoring and facilitating highly distributed development teams has been his focus in recent years. His longevity is a testament to his ability to navigate the complexities of competing strategies, management styles, and priorities through the use of diplomacy, creativity, and negotiation, all the while keeping a focus on the return to the business.
Mark is an active member of Compass Christian Church serving as a Stephen Minister, a continuing education coordinator and a men’s POWER team member. He also works with bereaved parents and families struggling with addiction. He has been mentoring and coaching others for over two dozen years and recently acquired his life coaching certification.
Mark is married, has four grown children, four grandchildren and enjoys photography, art and technology.
