Dr. Dave Sager has been helping individuals and families for the past 20 years. He grew up in South Fort Worth and attended Abilene Christian University where he received a Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Bible. He then continued at ACU to receive his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1990. Dave later received his PhD from Oklahoma State University in Family Relations and Child Development with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Dr. Sager has served in ministry as a Youth and Education Minister in Vernon, TX and Edmond, OK and as a Family Minister in Grand Prairie, TX. He has also taught in several universities, served as President of the Board for the Texas Counsel on Family Relations, was a Senior Care Advocate for United Healthcare, and was a Vice President of Family Services at a local nonprofit children home. He has been a frequent speaker at lectureships, youth retreats, professional conferences, marriage retreats, and church conferences on topics such as self-image and the motivation behind behaviors, family and faith development, parenting, adoption, marriage, adolescent development, blended families, and more.
Dave and his wife, Dianna, and their little girl, Kylie, are active in their church where he serves as a deacon and frequent Bible School teacher. His personal interests include hunting and fishing, playing with his daughter, traveling, and supporting the Colleyville Heritage Lady Panthers, where his wife is the Head Basketball Coach.
