Cindy Lotton joins the board of His Story Coaching and Counseling from the world of education.  She is a retired school counselor having served in the Keller and HEB school districts.  Cindy worked with both elementary and high school students during her 23 years in education.  She is a graduate of Baylor University and has her Masters degree from Dallas Baptist University in Counseling with a school counselor certification.

Cindy also served the Keller ISD as a member of the board of trustees. She retired from the board in 2022 after 18 years of service.

Cindy currently works part time for the Women’s Center of Tarrant County as a Play It Safe trainer.  The Play It Safe program works with public schools in Tarrant County teaching child safety and abuse prevention to students in Pre-k to 12.

Cindy is married to her husband Scooter; they have 5 children, 4 son/daughter in-laws and 11 grandchildren!  All of the family lives in the area so they are blessed to have lots of wonderful times together.

During her time as a school counselor Cindy began to explore areas of Biblical/Christian counseling from the works of John Eldredge and Dan Allender, especially the Story work of Dan Allender.  Cindy is passionate about people’s healing and emotional health through the work of story and its impact on our lives.  She believes that true healing can only come through the redemptive work of God and the Holy Spirit in people’s lives.  She is excited to join the work of His-Story Coaching and Counseling to see how God can further use her in people’s lives.
