Ann Trammell Qualls

Ann Qualls is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). She earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with honors from The King’s University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Angelo State University in 2003.

She attended a Christian retreat in 2011 called the Walk to Emmaus where God changed her life. “Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) After working in the corporate world for many years, she decided to follow her dream of helping others as a counselor.

Ann is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and specializes in helping people heal from trauma. Traumatic situations can sometimes get stuck in our brain causing us to believe irrational and/or incorrect things about ourselves, our lives, and those around us. This can cause many different issues which may include anger, depression, and anxiety. Through her own experiences with searching for freedom and healing, Ann believes everyone, no matter where they are in life, is capable of healing and deserves to live their best life. Ann’s desire is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you to help you meet your goals. Ann welcomes people from all walks of life.

She and her husband Greg have two adult daughters, a three-legged rescue pit bull named Henry, and a cat named Zoe. When Ann is not working with her clients, she enjoys working Emmaus Walks, spending time with her family and friends, and fostering dogs and cats that need forever homes.
